IQ Formulations Hailed Among Florida Companies to Watch for 2015

TAMARAC, FL (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 03, 2015

IQ Formulations today was named one of the Florida Companies to Watch for 2015 by economic development group GrowFL and the Edward Lowe Foundation. The leading health supplement manufacturer was one of only 50 companies in the state selected for this prestigious award, which recognizes growing second-stage companies “that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes, making them worth watching.”

“To be acclaimed among the top Florida Companies to Watch is a very exciting and humbling honor,” said IQ Formulations CEO Jay Cohen. “On behalf of the amazing team I get to work with every day, we truly appreciate this distinguished recognition among some of the most respected and fastest growing companies in the entire state. Our continued growth and continual receipt of national and statewide honors underscores the fact that consumers and retailers appreciate the superior quality of IQ Formulations’ products and our commitment to excellence in all that we do.”

Earlier this month, IQ Formulations was also named to the prestigiousInc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. It was the company’s second consecutive year on the list, after it ranked at #50 nationwide in 2014.

IQ Formulations and the other 50 companies named the 2015 Florida Companies to Watch generated a total of more than $1.2 billion in revenue and added nearly 1,000 employees between 2011 and 2014. Together, the companies project a 23 percent increase in revenue and 19 percent increase in job growth in 2015.

“These stand-out companies are all led by entrepreneurs, and have demonstrated their capacity and intent to grow,” said Dr. Tom O’Neal, executive director of the Florida Economic Gardening Institute and associate vice president for the University of Central Florida’s Office of Research and Commercialization. “They also all have critical intellectual property or a niche position that gives them a competitive edge in their markets.”

CEO Jay Cohen and other winners will be formally honored at a ceremony at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida on November 5.
