IQ Formulations to Expand Headquarters

Leading nutritional supplement manufacturer IQ Formulations today announced that it will be relocating its company headquarters to Tamarac after working with the local Stonegate Bank and Total Real Estate Consultants, Inc. to secure a mortgage loan.

The South Florida manufacturing company has experienced exponential growth over the past few years, and looks forward to continuing to expand and create additional jobs in the region.

IQ Formulations Begins Headquarters Expansion After Working with South Florida’s Stonegate Bank and Total Real Estate Consultants, Inc.

Sunrise-based health supplement manufacturer IQ Formulations today announced that it has begun the process of relocating and expanding its operations after working with Total Real Estate Consultants, Inc. and securing a loan from South Florida’s Stonegate Bank. IQ Formulations was named last week to Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing companies in the nation after posting an astonishing 5,486 percent growth rate since 2010. The company will soon move its operations to Tamarac, where it is beginning the process of building out a state-of-the-art manufacturing and processing facility that can accommodate a surge in production and a growing workforce.

“As a born and raised Floridian, it was very important to me to partner with a bank and realtor right here in our own community,” said IQ Formulations CEO Jay Cohen. “Stonegate Bank’s Eric Servaites and Total Real Estate Consultants’ Joe Pelayo did a great job making the process easy. Their assistance has helped immeasurably with the expansion that is underway, and we look forward to their continued assistance as we grow and create additional jobs in South Florida.”

Work has already commenced on IQ Formulations’ new high-tech facility and the company hopes to move in by the end of the year. The upgraded location will include enhanced production capabilities, and will be home to the company’s recently expanded Quality Control and Assurance Department.

IQ Formulations has expanded rapidly over the past few years, generating dozens of new jobs. The company was named by Inc. Magazine as the 50th fastest growing private company in the United States. Inc. 5000: Meet the 120 South Florida companies that made the list

More than 100 companies made the cut for the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America list, with two local companies named among the 50 fastest-growing ones in the nation.

Miami-based car-dealership marketing firm Showroom Logic came in at No. 26 nationally, topping the magazine’s list of South Florida companies by increasing revenue to $13.4 million in 2013 from $157,259 three years before.

IQ Formulations, a nutritional supplement company, ranked No. 50 in the U.S. The Sunrise-based company reached $8.2 million in 2013 revenues, compared to $148,037 in 2010.

“I look forward to many more years of continued success and expansion in South Florida as we help men and women achieve their fitness goals and constantly strive to raise the bar in our industry,” IQ Formulations CEO Jay Cohen said in a statement.

The companies each added several jobs in the past three years: Showroom Logic grew from four employees to 86, and IQ Formulations went from two employees to 33. IQ Formulations will move to a 40,000-square-foot facility in Tamarac in the fall.

122 South Florida companies make Inc. 5000 list

Inc. magazine unveiled its annual list of fastest-growing private companies in America on Wednesday, and 122 companies from the Miami metropolitan area made the cut.

Showroom Logic, a 90-employee company in Miami founded in 2009, came in at No. 26 with 8,449 percent growth in the past three years and $13.4 million in 2013 revenue. Showroom Logic offers software tools and customized advertising programs for the auto industry, including its AdLogic platform built from the ground up specifically for car dealers.

IQ Formulations, a Sunrise maker of nutritional supplements for sports and fitness enthusiasts, was No. 50 with 5,486 percent three-year growth and $8.3 million 2013 revenue. The company was founded in 2010 and has 35 employees, according to Inc.

Other Miami companies that ranked particularly high: Acordis International of Miramar (No. 71), LogoUp.com of Pompano Beach (no. 80), MobileHelp of Boca Raton (111), SmackTom.com of Miami (125); CareCloud of Miami (127) and 3A/Worldwide of Miami (175). For only the second time in the 33-year history of the Inc. 5000, the No. 1 company was a repeat winner. Children’s tablet maker Fuhu, based in El Segundo, Calif., reported a jaw-dropping 158,956.9 percent sales surge over the past three years, Inc. said.
